Tori Hunt

I am a first grade teacher at Powell GT Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh, NC. This is my fourth year teaching first grade at Powell. Before I came to Powell I taught third grade for a year. I truly enjoy my job and working with my sweet 6 and 7 year olds. I love helping them grow and learn everyday while making a difference in their lives.My biggest hope is for them to continue to be motivated and successful as they continue their education.

 

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband, Winston. Most of our friends and family live locally, so we are lucky to be able to see them often. We spend most of our time outdoors with our dog, Bandit. We like to walk with him around Shelley Lake or take him hiking at Falls Lake. We are huge N.C. State fans and attend most of the football and basketball games. In the summer, we enjoy spending our time on the beach at Oak Island.
